«Heike Fritz began her ceramics career in Germany, strongly influenced by the Bauhaus Movement and Industrial Design. Her work is deeply rooted in the profound ideals of craftsmanship.
Conceptually, each piece evokes mid-century modern design in attention to clean form, simplicity, subdued use of glaze color, and integrity. Embracing the title of potter with pride, she makes beautiful objects for use, for home, for the table.
